Specifically she's a wonderful kid she really is...she seems to learn things over night. Like for example just yesterday when I said 'Show Auntie Marie how you say bye-bye' she waved her hand with no prompting! Up until that point she would only wave after I waved it was so cute! lol She's also moving around much more now. She's still not actually traditionally crawling but she scoots on her bum all around. She definitely will get to where she wants to go but she's still very much like her mom; if something seems to far away she'll get frustrated if she can't get there fast enough...haha
I can't believe she's already 10 months old. I can remember specifically last year at this time being uncomfortable because my allergies were acting up and I couldn't breathe at night, trying to go to work and not cry every time I was there, starting to have my feet swell more and still trying to picture what life was going to be like with this little person...our daughter...in our lives. Sometimes it's surreal to me still. Like when Jonathan brings her into our room in the morning for her to nurse...she gets so excited she kicks her legs together like a mermaid (I see the irony with her name...lol). Then starts smacking her lips, she's knows what's coming...hahaha
In regards to nursing I'm planning to see how she deals with me going back to work and will probably introduce milk into her diet slowing trying to 'phase out' the breast feeding. I'm not a HUGE stickler about being done right when she's a year old. At the latest I would like to be done by the time she's 18 months but I've learned not to make absolute statements they always come back to bite me in the arse. I can assure you that I will definitely not be nursing her at 7 like I read about...honest :)
In short my daughter is a complete delight to me...I love being a mom, if I could afford to do this full time I would...however I can't and honestly am looking forward to going back to work but am glad I get to go back part time because I want to spend most of my time with Arielle. She's so much fun and I don't want to miss anything in her development, even if that means we don't have boatloads of extra money :) I mean really isn't she just cute??
