Bigger than my body indeed!!

Sorry no quote today because I would like to take a moment and discuss a few things. The first pertaining to John Mayer and the entity that is known as...

...his hair.

Krista and I (along with a number of people we say from GNF *waves*) went to the John Mayer concert this past Thursday (the 26th) and while Krista lists off three very important points about her experience I have to echo one and list a couple of my own.

The echo: I have never wanted to be a guitar so badly in my life. What that man can do with that instrument should be illegal...he's just so flipping good at it. I'll admit it, the teeny bopper still buried inside me swooned just a little bit...wait I take it back...she swooned alot. Honestly though as much as I absolutely loved his albums and loved singing along to the songs (with that wonderful guy sitting next to me who's enthusiasm was just addicting) I honestly got just as much joy watching him just play. (especially since we were close enough to see the guitar faces...OH the guitar faces! :) The picture to the left is not a guitar face...his bottom lip would have to be suctioning into the back of his head and his eyes would have to be closed. Aesthetically I agree...the smile is better.

Moving on...my own points:

While Krista would like to be in charge of the security guards...and she could do it ya'll I'm telling you, you do NOT want to be on the other side of the Folkers glare I don't care how intimidating you think you are. Anyway while she is whipping them into shape I would personally like to be the person who hands over the guitars. Not tune them, someone else can do that...or fix the strings...but I want to stand there and pass him the guitar whenever he changes it. Mostly because I could be near to those lucky, lucky instruments and also because it's the best seat in the house...I can't see a losing side people...honestly how can it exist.

And lastly before we got the pleasure of John's fantastic talent Krista and I got to enjoy a people watching. And people I don't if you are aware of this but you are VERY entertaining. So I have a message to the three people in particular that Krista and I could NOT stop staring at:

To the husband of Cleavage woman: How in the world did you not bury your face in your wife's plunging neckline?? Honestly I was jealous and I don't swing that way. I don't know if it was the angle but wow this woman was giving J.Lo and 'that dress' a run for their money...forget undergarments she HAD to be wearing some kind of double sided tape...yikes. So good on ya hubby...way to not be distracted...now could you lean foward so she stops distracting me?

To the girl with 'the hair': Hunny let's be honest, the only way Beyonce and all the stars get away with the '80s look is because...well...they're stars. You on the other hand need to stop sticking your finger in light sockets for hair style. It honestly wasn't that great the first time around...trust me I grew up then...so I'm guessing you're gonna look back and scream a big 'ol WHY to yourself in ten years. I'm sorry, but I tried to warn you.

And last but certainly not least...mr. white sweater: First off if I can see your nipples from over 100 feet away then we have a problem. Second if you think you have to go to the women's section to buy your white, ribbed, hodded, zip-up, fitted sweater to go over your button down white shirt (that was not buttoned) to look good. You were grossly misinformed. But thanks for the laugh I REALLY needed it...I'd recommend losing the sweater tho...or morphing back to a different time with our girl with the fuzzy hair...that is all folks...more to come about life and how easily it can change so dramatically in one week. :)

Laughter and tears are both responses to frustration and exhaustion.

So I'm frustrated mostly with work and the fact that it bothers me when things fubar out of my control. Especially when it involves people who could be doing a better job but aren't. :p Like me...okay that's not fair. It's not about who is doing what wrong, it's about the fact that I've got a situation and if it ends up that I have cancel one of my tours as a result I'm going to be very discouraged. Sometimes I am very frustrated by where I work.

The excuse of the loudest complainer is that he is getting married and it costs a lot and it's stressful. (Plus he has to go on tour, boo hoo) You know that river you're crying kid do it FAR away from me. My sympathy level for that individual is NIL, NADA, ZILTCH! I'm planning two three week tours WHILE planning THREE count 'em THREE weddings on a meager budget. I don't weep for you little boy...not at all. My advice SUCK IT UP PRINCESS!

Ehm...and zen...hear the ocean...avoid seagull crap...moving on

In other news I am busy as a bee at home. Married life is going quite well thank you, but moving is not. Mainly because we haven't moved yet. That is something we need to do next week and weekend. Then I have to try and set up house while still working. I have to work my part time job the following weekend on Friday night and Sunday while my lovely husband has to work Saturday. Gross huh?

Then we sail into May two VERY tired individuals who are also trying to plan our wedding as well. Don't get me started on that...mainly because I can't darn well get started on it because I have to send these teams (at work) on tours in two weeks and one of them is discouraging me with it's immaturity and lack of support. Ugh...drink more wine. :) Much better.

The weather isn't helping cause it starts off cold in the morning and then works it's way to warm over the day. This should be great except it sucks because you can't totally enjoy spring if it's only here for a few hours. Plus my skin is not happy...

Ugh and double ugh. There is a silver lining in here somewhere I just have to find it...hmm...maybe it's under all the laundry I have no time to do...or under that pile of work I had to take home...or the cat is playing with it.

I'll go check.

Take only pictures, steal only time, leave only footprints

I'm pretty good at keeping up the quote thing huh? I don't know who said that, the author was unknown on the quote website.

I don't have a lot of time, work is pressing on me to get things done so I'm just gonna post a pic from the wedding and be on my way. Going to Ontario for Easter so I must work like a madwoman before then.
Hope you enjoy. :) Aren't we just sappily cute?
