My feet hurt...

...it's a bit of a redundant statement. I say it at least once every day, but I can't help it they hurt. They aren't swollen either it's the bottom of my feet that hurt...I wish I could wear crocs to work...heck I need to buy crocs to wear at home...I really don't care how ugly they are, they're comfortable...lol Maybe I'll try to buy them this weekend if I can find them for a good enough deal.

Moving on...

So I'm finishing week 33 and moving into 34...it's weird the first few months seemed to go by so slowly as I tried to see a bump growing. Now I hardly remember March and April and we're already in the middle of May...I repeatedly have dreams about labour and birth and honestly can't wait to meet this little girl. At this point I can't wait till I'm done work...because of the hurt feet more so than me not liking work. I'm going to be visiting work with my 'barista baby' as much as I can...I'm sure she'll love being fawned over and then everyone can see her (and I can get out of the house! LOL)

While I dream about meeting her I still can't seem to wrap my head around the reality of all of this. People were wishing me a Happy Mother's day yesterday and it felt weird accepting it although she moved around all day letting me know she was there and giving credence to the fact that I AM a mother. It doesn't get more nurturing than literally giving of your nutrients and energy, not to mention carrying her in a nice warm place while she grows...lol And I even don't mind sacrificing my foot comfort...haha

While this post is not of huge quantity I do want to make an effort to write more so there you go...I'm going to relax before going to bed early as I get to wake up early and open at work tomorrow. See ya! :)

Okay there is SNOW!!

...and all I can think about is eating ice cream. Honestly what the heck? I don't want to go out in the crap that is falling from the sky right now but Dairy Queen is calling REALLY loud...possibly I will be able to drown it up...we'll have to see.

So it's May 4th and there's snow...at the rate we're going my prediction of giving birth with snow coming down could actually happen...ugh. I gotta say this is not the best for me staying upbeat...I am glad that through this snow I don't have to go to work and can sit at home and keep my feet up...which I enjoy because I feel like I just keep getting bigger. Here's a pic of big 'ol me in case some of you (I'm talking to you lurkers who complain to my mom when I don't write...LOVE YOU! ;) aren't on facebook to see my updates...as you can see she is growing quite big in there and believe me I can feel the stretch. Jonathan did take this pic with my face showing but I looked like death so all you get is belly sorry...lol

I am now 32 weeks so let's do some math. I'm 8 weeks from my due date and about 5 weeks from the end of work so that I can actually put my energy toward nesting and not work. I love my job but my feet are definitely not enjoying being needed so much during the day. If I didn't need the mula I'd be leaving even earlier but as it stands I must work so I shall...besides the customers mentioned in my last post work has been very accommodating so I really can't complain. I just like to...lol

This ice cream thing is not getting better. Ugh. As far as cravings go I think ice cream has been my biggest craving...no not WITH pickles or anything...just the ice cream (mostly blizzards from Dairy Queen)...I did have a stint where I couldn't get enough double shot popcorn from Kernels but now it's really just all about the ice cream...honestly Sheri stop talking about it...go...now...stop.

Ehm...lessee I used the new vacuum that my mom bought me today and I love it! The cat on the other hand not so much with the loving the vacuum. She had her tail all puffed out whenever I would walk around with it and when she thought she was safe she'd just sit there and watch it like it was this alien coming to get her. VERY funny...now she's sleeping off her terror because it was very traumatic for her...especially with last weeks cleaning of 'her' room. See here's an idea of the room as Miss Mao would like it:

Note the containers, boxes and other random items not to mention a WHOLE lot of dust that sat ever so ominously haunting me for months and months. Miss Mao loves it...Sheri, not so much. THEN Jonathan and his mom just went town cleaning the room, plus my lovely husband put together the crib which is now sitting in this exact spot...I think it looks better don't you?
Yup that's a crib there...I still walk into that room and stare at the crib thinking 'I can't believe Jonathan and I are going to have a little person sleeping in there. ' She moves quite a bit more now and even though sometimes it hurts I still love every second. I feel like she's communicating with me, letting me know she's okay and growing. She responds to voices now too...like she'll move when Jonathan talks or if I put my mom or dad on speaker phone. They've been talking to her once a week since I was three months. It's very cute, I figure since they can't be here if they want to talk to my belly then they are welcome to! My mom is now trying to convince her to make sure she is born AFTER my mom gets here which is fine with me. I'd like to finish work with my plan and everything...although I'm aware I don't have control I can still pretend like I do...lol
Anyway I'm a very tired girl, I vacuumed, did dishes AND laundry and I still don't have ice cream...I think I need to take a nap to ease my weary mind. Till next time folks! :)
