In the past week I've visited my paternal grandfather and then an hour later went back to say a final goodbye after he had passed away. Tuesday my parents were here, Wednesday my husband and I go to my maternal grandparent's place so that we can make the evening memorial with our family and the 10am funeral on Thursday. I was a pallbearer although it was in looks only...none of my cousin's would let me lift the coffin because of my 'delicate state' LOL Either way it was a long day and very emotionally draining.
Then Friday felt like it was longer although I didn't really do much that day...just sort of sat around entertaining whichever extended member of my parent's families that dropped by and hanging out with my parents. Funny story in the midst of this...so Jonathan and I show up at the restaurant where my dad's family is having dinner before the memorial. Dad stands up to hug us...my mom leans down to giggle and kiss my stomach before really saying hi to me...I looked at my aunt and said 'She didn't even say hi to me'...my aunt said 'it just gets worse'...lol So it begins, the part where I cease to matter and my children, their grandchildren, take precedents. So needless to say my parents are excited.
Anyway Saturday we drove back so I could work then today it's back again to visit with the fam and then oh yeah you guess it, back home...so I can work...then tomorrow it's up at the ass crack, work till early afternoon then prepare for a shindig with Jonathan's family (his mom's side) then Christmas day it's slamming Jonathan's parents, my parents, my grandparents and probably more of his family into one day. Then his immediate fam on Boxing Day....*sigh* THEN I work at the ass crack on the 27th.
I have the 30th off and let me tell you I'm not doing a DAMN thing except go on a date with my husband so we can reconnect without a member of our families in the area.
Next year we are flying at Christmas with an infant...lol why do I do this to myself?? :p
In pregnancy news I'm still doing well. I'm not feeling as tired as I used to...although now I do but I think that has more to do with this past week. :p Some parts of the day my stomach feels tighter than other times...and I swear I feel bigger every day. I can't lean over to tie my shoes anymore although I have been told this gets worse...I'm excited...lol Anyway Up at the ass crack is coming soon so I should get to sleep.

LOL...I don't know why it was funny...there is actually a series of cartoons about guard duck and his migratory love...but this just struck me as funny.
