Okay okay okay it has been long...WAY too long

What can I say I've been a bad bad blogger...like really bad. In fact there are no excuses I have been lacking in the blogging and I have nothing good to say for myself. So now, how am I? Good questions.

To start I am done getting married...the third and final installment of our weddings was on October 14th so I am now SO married...like really really married. Like wore my wedding dress twice had to write new vows because the old ones were outdone wore my wedding rings down the aisle married.

Now I get to live married life. Just live it...how boring...lmao I'm kidding it's great. For example I'm smelling my husbands attempts at making cookies...which were very high attempts but alas the cookies did not know how they were to cook so now it smells burnt...he's so cute. :p Right now he's going to Safeway to purchase proper replacements...lol

I've had some good days off in the last bit cause I've been really really tired...plus the days off have given me a chance to catch up on some cleaning and laundry, oh my goodness I'm a house frau...I have lost my will to mock and make fun I just like to clean and do laundry dear lord help me! You know I used to write a lot and now I can't seem to find the inspiration to get stuff down...it's bizarre it's like whatever motivated me before is either dormant or gone. I kind of miss those days.

There is also the fact that up until recently my laptop has been a out of commission so then I have to share the home computer with my hubby which makes it more difficult to spend time writing. Plus I prefer the whole, on the lap, thing involved with a laptop...who knows maybe when I get it back the inspiration will fly again I suppose you'll have to wait and see.

Stay tuned in a few weeks I might have more to write about that possibly has some substance...or I'll forget again and you won't hear from me till the new year....let's hope that doesn't happen. However if it does Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year. :)

Laugh and the world laughs with you, snore and you sleep alone.

Thank you, Anthony Burgess! I couldn't have said it better myself.

So it's Sheri's first week as a married woman. Would you like some highlights? Don't worry I'll stay G-rated. ;) Let's start with I now sleep in the same bed as a man who is training for the sleeping Olympics. I kid you not, I thought that I moved a lot while I slept...I have nothing on this man...yikes!

He doesn't just turn over in bed he launches upward and then lands. Plus I think he was talking in his sleep and I kid you not, there was humming. My husband hums when he sleeps. This is turning out to be a very interesting marriage already. So he knees me in the back one night because of his launch and land turnover technique so that wakes me up. Then he, still sleeping, is talking and humming. Me...still awake. Then after the conversation and the humming performance he starts snoring.

LOL...oh my. Luckily this hasn't been an every night thing, but really I may have to go to sleep wearing protection...and I don't mean 'that' kind. :)

So in case you were wondering how married life is treating me, the first 4.5 days has gone really well.

Oh and about pics...I'll put up the 'red dress' wedding pics as soon as I get some. I'm excited to see them too, I hope they turned out. :)

So work...still here...I should do it.

A successful marriage requires falling in love many times, always with the same person.

That quote was by: Mignon McLaughlin I don't know who that is but I like to give credit to whomever gave the quote. :)

So I'm married now. Honestly it's still kinda bizarre. What resonates the most is the fact that I don't have to go home at the end of the day because I am home. This morning the cat was very confused with the new arrangement. She loved it of course because I cuddle her way more than he does...but still. She jumped up on the bed and sat on my chest looking at me like she was saying 'okay what are you still doing here?' LoL

We're not in OUR apartment yet so it's still transition but heck it's closer. And wow I can't stop looking at my rings. The waitress we had for our brunch on Sunday said she could tell we just got married because I kept looking at my rings and Jonathan's ring was too shiny to have been worn longer than a day. lol

The wedding went fantastic. Although it was kind of bizarre, we wanted it to be formal but at the same time it felt too intimate to be formal. Technically we only had one person in the congregation (Yay Michele! :) but it was still fantastic. I didn't cry as much as I thought I would although I got a bit choked when we read our vows and then when Krista and Vergil read the blessings that my parents sent. Mainly though, I got to focus on the man I was marrying without the distraction of anyone else. It was wonderful. So after that we went to 'The Melting Pot' which is just a great restaurant! If you like fondue and live in Winnipeg you have to check it out. We had a lot of fun!

We were at the Fort Garry Saturday night so we got enjoy the Sunday brunch there in the morning. It was SO GOOD! Mmm...great food and so much of it. I wanted to eat way more but there is only so much food I can fit into my body...I ate my fill at least. Then Jonathan and I went home and just relaxed. It's kinda weird being here at work because it seems as though I should be gone for awhile...but that's okay I'll be doing that soon enough in May. (See the new coutdown? ;)

So yeah, I'm a married woman...a wife...wow...so bizarre. I'll post pictures when I can, I don't have any right now but I'll get too it *poke* Krista *poke*. LoL

All in all...a great day. A perfect little civil ceremony all about us starting out marriage which is exactly what we wanted. Now I get to go into the planning of the bigger event where I get to wear my dress! YAY!
