That quote was by: Mignon McLaughlin I don't know who that is but I like to give credit to whomever gave the quote. :)
So I'm married now. Honestly it's still kinda bizarre. What resonates the most is the fact that I don't have to go home at the end of the day because I am home. This morning the cat was very confused with the new arrangement. She loved it of course because I cuddle her way more than he does...but still. She jumped up on the bed and sat on my chest looking at me like she was saying 'okay what are you still doing here?' LoL
We're not in OUR apartment yet so it's still transition but heck it's closer. And wow I can't stop looking at my rings. The waitress we had for our brunch on Sunday said she could tell we just got married because I kept looking at my rings and Jonathan's ring was too shiny to have been worn longer than a day. lol
The wedding went fantastic. Although it was kind of bizarre, we wanted it to be formal but at the same time it felt too intimate to be formal. Technically we only had one person in the congregation (Yay Michele! :) but it was still fantastic. I didn't cry as much as I thought I would although I got a bit choked when we read our vows and then when Krista and Vergil read the blessings that my parents sent. Mainly though, I got to focus on the man I was marrying without the distraction of anyone else. It was wonderful. So after that we went to 'The Melting Pot' which is just a great restaurant! If you like fondue and live in Winnipeg you have to check it out. We had a lot of fun!
We were at the Fort Garry Saturday night so we got enjoy the Sunday brunch there in the morning. It was SO GOOD! Mmm...great food and so much of it. I wanted to eat way more but there is only so much food I can fit into my body...I ate my fill at least. Then Jonathan and I went home and just relaxed. It's kinda weird being here at work because it seems as though I should be gone for awhile...but that's okay I'll be doing that soon enough in May. (See the new coutdown? ;)
So yeah, I'm a married woman...a wife...wow...so bizarre. I'll post pictures when I can, I don't have any right now but I'll get too it *poke* Krista *poke*. LoL
All in all...a great day. A perfect little civil ceremony all about us starting out marriage which is exactly what we wanted. Now I get to go into the planning of the bigger event where I get to wear my dress! YAY!

Right. Pictures. :P I'll work on that...sometime. This weekend, hopefully!
Congratulations, friend! Yay for finally being a wife! :)
Wow, congratulations!! I'll be checking everyday for pictures and, truly, I can't wait to see them. I LOVE weddings! And by the way, I've seen (but not partaken in) that Sunday brunch at the Fort Garry Hotel, and I admire your self-restraint. I would have been under the table. I hope at very least you got that fancy chef to whip up one of those swanky omelettes for you!
